The Kappa 6 is NIJ IV+ certified multi hit is the latest invention to prevent from armor piercing (AP) and Armor Piercing Incendiary (API)(BZ)(B32) rounds. In recent years new ammunition has appeared which is not covered by the NIJ protocol, hence Levels described as NIJ Level III+ and NIJ Level III++ & NIJ level IV. These ‘unofficial’ levels have fallen into common usage. The vest is particularly suited to Special Forces operating in underwater roles. The proven design offers full protection to the front and sides. This vest is constructed from HT Polyester. Webbing straps with slide closures provide secure method of closure. Armor Solution  A wide variety of armor solutions can be offered. Standard solutions include US NIJ Standards level IIA,II,IIIA,III and IV, as well as many European National Standards. Armor Plate Materials: Ceramic Ceramic + Polyethylene Ceramic + Fiber Composite Ceramic + Fiber Composite + Polyethylene Floatable Dyneema; The plates are offered as either In-conjunction plates (ICW), to be used in conjunction with soft armor vests, or stand alone plates (SAP) to be used in isolation. The plates follow the US NIJ Norm 0101.05 which defines the protection afforded by each plate.
